Claire is a michigan native, and class of 2020 graduate from the savannah college of art and design with a b.f.a in fashion Design. She has a creative pulse to design for the playful and the practical with consideration of real people, places, and experiences as muses. She is equally enthralled with the two-dimensional and three-dimensional processes of design, and eager to further her skillset in the fashion industry.

A collection of coats and accessories upcycled from handmade quilts made as early as the 1930's. This making process was founded as a continuation of my thesis work, and to give the heirlooms of my studio audience a new purpose for present day. Each garment is thoughtfully crafted in collaboration with the wearer for a bespoke experience and transformed heirloom. ACcessories are crafted from these garment scraps in an effort to preserve every bit of the handiwork.

In The summer of 2019 I took a nine seat commuter plane to Martha's Vineyard to assist Lauren Morgan in designing a second collection for her namesake label of american grown and made outerwear. It was here where I became familar with the few remaining heritage textile mills and manufacturers across the nation. Together we developed a capsule of ten unisex garments from american fiber and textiles for the sea and field obsessed wearer.
